As the name already suggests, a ship’s Cook is working on a ship, sometimes on luxurious vessels but also on workboats. His work strongly depends on the size of the vessel and the number of crew members which are on board. Next to the position of Captain, an AB/Cook is one of the most important crew members on board a ship. An AB/cook is a crew and customer friendly person who has a great sense of hospitality.
