Requirement
|
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- USCG 3rd Mates Unlimited Tonnage License and/or Bachelor’s Degree.
- U. S. Passport.
- Merchant Mariners Document (Z-card).
- Tankerman PIC endorsement.
- STCW certificate.
- TWIC Card.
- Willing and able to work overtime.
- Degree in Marine Transportation.
- Completion of basic safety class.
- 1 year of direct experience sailing as a cadet on a tanker/ship.
- 1 year of direct experience sailing as an officer.
- Current in Advanced Fire Fighting training (within the last 5 years).
- Possessing strong written and oral communication skills.
- Having the ability to acquire knowledge.
- Able to satisfactorily pass certification exams.
- Able to cooperate, effectively manage and work well with others.
- Able to clearly follow instructions, both written and verbal.
- Able to apply common sense to achieve the desired outcomes according to the company’s operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Possessing organization, efficiency and is a methodical problem solver.
- Computer literate.
